Winter Eagle Plume

Winter Eagle Plume is from Aamsskáápipikani (Blackfeet) Nation and lives with her family on Blood reserve. She is a creatively innovative artisan and entrepreneur. Her work is vast and not limited. Winters work includes contemporary pieces like fabric purses with applique and unique ribbon skirts. Winter also uses traditional materials including brain tanned and smoke tanned hides on her traditional dolls and stuffed animals that include buffalo and horsehair. Winters work also includes, cradle boards, Pendleton and capote jackets, parfleche bags and shields, backrests, star quilts, real bone necklaces and her dentilliam earrings are absolutely stunning.
